Originally billed as the five-year, $50 million capital improvement plan designed to bring dramatic improvements to Squaw Valley – the Renaissance will now total nearly $70 million in improvements to both Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows by winter 2015-16. With $24 million invested for this winter, new projects for this season include two new chairlifts at Squaw Valley, significant snowmaking improvements and completely redesigned terrain parks at both resorts, and Tahoe’s only mile-long terrain park at Alpine Meadows.?
